Well it was a big day today at the Arthur house. Reed, who just a week half ago got his license, went for a job interview. And guess what, HE GOT THE JOB!!!!!! He now works for our church and we are so very proud of him. He is one of the hardest working young men I know and he will do just great at his new job.
As most of you know Reed had dyslexia very severely. School is very hard for him. He has often asked me if he would be able to have a job. So you can see what a BIG deal this is in our home. I've never doubted that Reed could get a job. God has a special plan for Reed and we aren't going to try to make him into someone he is not. He may never go to collage but he will be a godly husband and father one day and he will server his Lord with all his heart. I'm so thankful for Reed and the young man he has become. He is a true southern gentleman. He's not perfect but he does open my door on the truck for me all then time and he thanks me for cooking for him and is always ready to help out in the kitchen. Oh! I NEVER and I mean NEVER have to tell him to clean his room.
He's going to be a great husband just as long as his wife doesn't mind a man who never reads the paper, doesn't watch sports, likes to clean and cook, likes to stay home, doesn't care about keeping up with the Jones and serves his Lord!
Oh how very blessed Greg and I are to have a son like Reed.

Every Young Man's Dream
Well we gave Reed "Every young man's dream" a Ford F-150. You see, Reed is our money concerns kid. He always asks "How much does that cost?". And we are lucky because it's not just with his money but with ours too. So we did what we had said we would never do. We bought one of our children a vehicle. Reed's truck is white and has a tool box and ladder rack on it. It's a 1999 and even has a working AC. He loves it! We parked it up on the highway and put a For Sale sign on it but where you put the phone number we wrote "Happy Birthday Reed". Well, the sign was the first thing he looked at, he read it and looked at us with this puzzled look then read it again and broke out in a huge smile and threw his arms around his dads neck. If you know Reed you know this is a lot of emotion for him. LOL He has cleaned/worked on his truck everyday since he got it. Now we just need to get him his drivers licence. That will come on his birthday at the end of the month. I hope to have some picture to share with you all soon. He sure has made me love being his mom!

Winfield Camp Ground 9/10
The kids just had to take Noel for a ride.
Noel surprised us all and really enjoyed it.
Alexa is doing great on skis.
Reed is awesome on one!
Noel even enjoys watching.
The kids have been studying about volcanoes in school and had a blast making some. We even brought the baking soda and vinegar. Unfortunately the camera card filled up and we didn't get any pictures of Reeds. We have also studied pottery so Reed used some Georgia red clay and made an awesome volcano. It only took him 3 days to make. LOL

A New Journey
Well this journey begins with me quiting Face Book. I hope and pray this goes better than my experience there. All I really want is a place to share what my family is up to and share it with all those who live out of state. So, don't expect me to write a lot but do expect to see lots of pictures and videos. So this begins my blog journey. I wonder who will be the first person to see this?
